In 2019 the founder of Fine Dine Front Lines (FDFL), Ryan Drywer and his 10 year old daughter were simultaneously diagnosed with unrelated cancers. They spent a combined 14 months going through chemotherapy and being cared for by nurses and front line workers. This compassion planted a seed in them and they vowed to pay it back but wanted a direct impact, so they decided to fuel these tireless workers with high quality meals.

In May 2020 Ryan’s Leukemia came back and he had to undergo intensive chemotherapy and receive a Bone Marrow Transplant but that didn’t stop him. Through the support of his family and community Ryan continues to have the strength to fight cancer and fuel FDFL’s mission.

Fine Dine Front Lines 2

Ryan and his family, the restaurants, supporters, volunteer workers, and frontline workers all work together with compassion as they help those who need it most and provide for those who didn't know they needed it at all.

Since March 2020 FDFL has served over 11,000 meals with help from volunteers and donations!! In January 2021 FDFL surpassed $100,000 in meal donations (gofundme) to local hospitals in the Greater Seattle area.

FDFL strives to raise funds and engage in partnerships resulting in profitable catering orders for restaurants who need help. They enable restaurants to generate work for employees and revenue for their bottom line. They create volunteer opportunities through delivering high quality food to health care and front line workers at no charge.

Out of the care and acts of those who watched over him and his daughter he has paid it forward thousands of times over and that passionate nature has touched all in its path of positivity.
